Hiking - the best way to discover nature's hidden treasures, and appreciate the wildlife, woodlands, and least accessible scenic spots of our land.
Horseback riding - allows us to cover more ground and still reach spots not accessible by vehicle. This is the most common mode of transport in Mongolia, and you'll experience our nomadic horsemen's lifestyle crossing the steppe and exploring different valleys o n horseback.
Camelback riding - a smooth ride nestled between the two humps of Mongolia's native Bactrian camels. A perfect way to explore the Gobi Desert, its sand dunes, oases and canyons.
Bird watching - Spot ptarmigans, swans, ducks, lammergeyers, cranes and eagles - a great challenge for bird watchers around lakes, o n rivers and in the steppes.
Cultural tours - These trips are run in vehicles and allow visitors to get to as many historical, cultural, and natural places of interest as possible during their stay. Traveling through this least-discovered corner of Central Asia you'll be able to explore the ruins of Karakorum, old capital of the Mongol Empire. From his base here, Chinggis Khaan conquered the known world. Also here are the monastery of Erdene Zuu and remnants of the Turkic state, including remarkable stone statues and monoliths. See rock paintings of early cultures, and the birthplace of warriors in the homeland of Chinggis Khaan. Experience the art, ceremonies, and rituals of Mongolia's two living religions: Tibetan Buddhism and the more ancient shamanism.
